The groom and his men

"A man in love is incomplete until he is married. Then he's finished."
Zsa Zsa Gabor

Adam and I crossed another task off our to do list today. We selected tuxes for the men in our wedding party. Before our shopping trip, I tried to brush up on tuxedo terms and do a little bit of research so we would at least know what styles we liked best. I knew I wanted a similar and consistent look for all guys and I wanted Adam to stand out. I don't want anyone to question who the groom is (even though I don't know how that could happen... since he'll be the center of the party) We decided to rent tuxes from Men's Wearhouse because they have locations across the country... making it convenient for our wedding party to find a store closest to them for fittings and pick-up. All of the men will wear matching tux pants and jackets featuring a black edged lapel that we really liked. Adam will be wearing a white vest, tie and pocket square. The groomsmen will be wearing a red vest, tie and pocket square (which we thought would match the bridesmaids very well) While the dads and ushers will be wearing a black vest, tie and pocket square. The groomsmen will also be getting two shirts - a white one for the pictures and ceremony and a black one for the reception. The rental price is pretty reasonable and includes everything from socks to cuff links.
