Spreading holiday cheer

Happy Holidays from the soon-to-be Fishers. We ordered our Christmas cards this week and included the above photo (which was one of our photographer's favorite photos from our recent engagement photo shoot) I'm hoping to receive the photo cards in the mail on Tuesday and get them in the mail the next day. I apologize if you receive it after Christmas. Things have been a little crazy for me with work and I let time slip away before I realized we were this close to Christmas.

I hope all of you have an enjoyable holiday. Adam and I will be staying in the sunshine state since I have to work on Christmas Eve. We're planning to have a nice dinner on Christmas day and maybe even spend some time on the beach in the morning. We miss and love all of you! Merry Christmas!

How Adam & Penny Met

The Proposal

Adam surprised Penny with a trip to Captiva Island for the weekend after her birthday. He rented a quaint cottage in the middle of the island and had another very special surprise planned. Upon arrival to the island Adam asked Penny to go to the beach. She agreed. They set off for the beach. They walked to the beach and set up their chairs on the edge of the shoreline. The water was chilly, but that didn't stop the pair from frolicking in the water. As the sun started to set Adam took Penny's left hand. His hands were shaking as he said a bunch of romantic stuff Penny can't remember because of the excitement. He got down on one knee and asked "will you marry me?" Of course, she accepted after saying "are you serious" several times with tears streaming down her face. The beachgoers cheered with acceptance. He opened the cooler and pulled out a bottle of champagne and glasses to toast the engagement.
