Penny and Adam tie the knot: Our first dance

Our first dance

"Dancing with the feet is one thing,
but dancing with the heart is another."

Adam and I have spent the last few weeks listening to romantic ballads trying to find the perfect tune for our first dance. We don't have similar tastes in music so it has been challenging for us. We started the process by writing down all of our favorite love songs. We spent a couple evenings listening to all the selections and kept eliminating until we narrowed it down to a top six.
In random order they are:

-Let's Stay Together - Al Green
-Somewhere Over the Rainbow - Martina Mcbride
-What a Wonderful World - Eva Cassidy
-No One - Alicia Keyes

How Adam & Penny Met

The Proposal

Adam surprised Penny with a trip to Captiva Island for the weekend after her birthday. He rented a quaint cottage in the middle of the island and had another very special surprise planned. Upon arrival to the island Adam asked Penny to go to the beach. She agreed. They set off for the beach. They walked to the beach and set up their chairs on the edge of the shoreline. The water was chilly, but that didn't stop the pair from frolicking in the water. As the sun started to set Adam took Penny's left hand. His hands were shaking as he said a bunch of romantic stuff Penny can't remember because of the excitement. He got down on one knee and asked "will you marry me?" Of course, she accepted after saying "are you serious" several times with tears streaming down her face. The beachgoers cheered with acceptance. He opened the cooler and pulled out a bottle of champagne and glasses to toast the engagement.
